Stage by stage process for cylinder / cascade testing
- Dismantling of high-pressure piping from vehicle & cascades.
- Cylinder De-Valving
- Purging of each cylinder individually
- Internal cleaning
- Visual inspection (measurement of various external and internal defects by visual inspection and limiting criteria for acceptance of cylinder)
- External shotblasting/wire brushing
- Weighing
- Hydrostatic Stretch Test (HST)
- Ultrasonic Flow Detection Test
- Internal Drying (by hot air)
- Stamping
- Re-installing of cylinder valve
- Leak testing of cylinder
- Painting of cylinder (s) & cascade frames
- Re-Purging of each cylinder individually
- Re-installation of cylinder on vehicle / pipe manifolding as per cascade design. Re-Installation of all valve, gauges and other componentson the cascade
- Issuance of Peso Certificate / Cascade leakage test as per FAT and issuance of TPI certificate
